To support young women's employment, St. James’ Settlement (SJS) and Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited jointly introduced the "Women Futuremakers Employment Programme" in 2024. The programme aims at helping the young women to enhance their employability, and land a decent career in various fields such as sustainable, STEM, and art/ event-related jobs.

為大力支持及推動女性就業，聖雅各福群會與渣打銀行（香港）有限公司攜手推出「Women Futuremakers Employment Programme 未來女性就業計劃」，旨在幫助待業女青年提升就業技能，投身不同行業，包括可持續發展、STEM及藝術相關行業等。

Our first cohort conducted in English, aiming to cater English speakers in Hong Kong who face challenges in employment and cultural integration. We welcome women in all ethnicities.

Enhance their employability, confidence, and economic independence through job skills training. Integrate sustainability concepts to raise awareness among ethnic minority women in Hong Kong about circular fashion and the city's growing demand for it (e.g., reducing textile waste).

計劃將首次以英文進行，旨在為面臨就業及融入本地文化挑戰的非華語女性提供支持。我們歡迎所有種族的女性參與。

透過學習求職技能，提升女性群體的就業能力、自信心和經濟獨立性。結合永續發展概念，提高女性對循環時尚的認知，及香港對循環時尚日益增長的需求（例如，減少紡織廢料）。

Cohort 8 Training Content (第八期培訓內容 )：

Enhance soft skills in the workplace in all aspects, including: resume building, interview skills, workplace etiquette, cultural adaptation in Hong Kong's job market.
全方位提升職場軟實力，包括：履歷撰寫、面試技巧、職場禮儀、香港就業市場文化適應。

B. Art & Sustainability Training (68 hours)/ 藝術及可持續發展(約68小時)
Sustainable development has become an important trend across all industries. The new training program will provide participants the knowledge and skills in art, sustainability (focusing on clothing upcycling and redesign), and employability through combined training programs. And through fabric upcycling workshops, participants will create recycled fabric products to encourage circular fashion practices and reduce textile waste.

可持續發展已成為各行各業的重要趨勢，新一期培圳主要為參加者提供藝術、永續發展（重點是服裝升級改造和重新設計）和就業能力的專業知識。並透過布料升級再造工作坊，製作布料再造產品，鼓勵循環時尚實踐，減少紡織品浪費。
