Welcome to RAACHE Choirs! We view the training of our singers as a critical ministry. In order to keep this accessible to everyone, tuition is kept extremely low. We are only charging what we need to cover basic costs. Therefore we need volunteer help! YOU can make a difference in many families' lives and help keep costs down by assisting with us with your time and expertise.
In recent years, we have consistently had many families helping a lot (thank you!!!); however, some families are not honoring their commitment to help. Many hands make light work! We need EVERY family involved in choir to monitor during choir or help in a larger role that could potentially relieve you of your monitoring duties.
We need a limited number of volunteers for these larger positions and that individuals volunteering for larger positions will be informed of their roles and monitoring status after registration is complete on August 9.
As you consider whether choir is the right fit for your family during this season, please consider whether you have the capacity to commit to help in some way. This could include finding a grandparent or close friend to serve in your place; or supervising an older teen in one of the roles. We hope that if you sign your children up for choir, you are making that experience a priority for your family, and willing to help to make it a success for all. What we hope for is that you feel comfortable communicating with the Directors or Secretaries on how we can make this work for your family. New this year: If families do not fulfill their commitment to help, it could jeopardize their child’s opportunity to participate in choir the following semester. Below you will see the various ways you can lend a hand for the choir year.
Please sign up for 3 monitoring spots on the schedule for the whole year as well as at least 2 additional volunteer roles. If you have children in Con Brio, please prioritize signing up for these monitoring spots.
Note: The 2025-2026 monitoring schedule for parents to use to sign up for their child(ren)'s choir(s) is now included in the "Parent Volunteer Opportunities" page. (This was previously on Sign Up Genius). Please sign up for monitoring when you register your family.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL ARIOSO, CANTABILE, CON BRIO AND STACCATO FAMILIES ARE NEEDED TO MONITOR DURING THE YEAR.Grandparents, other family members, or willing and able choir supporters can be potential volunteers. Consider supervising an older child as he/she takes on one of our MANY volunteer opportunities. What a way to amplify an education AND give hours of service to others! IF we all pitch in with gusto, the load will lighten for everyone. Thank you for volunteering the MOST you can do.
If you are a parent (or older teen) with piano accompanist skills, let us know! If you have the skill set needed, you could accompany one of the choirs and receive tuition reimbursement. We also need to form a list of potential subs or occasional sectional accompanists.
