2026 Reston Century Volunteer Sign up

The 2026 Ken Thompson Reston Century will be held Sunday, August 23rd, 2026.  For years, our Century has depended entirely on dedicated volunteers like you!

To help make your volunteer selection, below is an index of the major areas we need support updated for the most critical spots that we need:

  • SAG Support - Very important for any new riders that might need a ride to a mechanic or some nutrition/motivation!
  • RTC West Support - pre-ride reg, setting up lunch and bev 
  • Day Prior: Route marking; van loading
  • PM Shifts for all rest stops! 
  • SAG Support
  • Century tear down - at RTC West and Van unloading
  • Van unloading
  • And many more!
Some of the day of positions, such as early and late shifts at the Start/Finish and van unloading will allow you to also ride.  See descriptions for details.  If you don't see a role listed, that means it has been filled.

If a task is not listed or you can not select on the form, this is because we already have enough volunteers.  Please consider another role!

Youths: Once again, Reston Bike Club is honored for the support from youth organizations and individuals.  We gladly certify service hours!

Volunteers who work for three hours or more will receive a complimentary one year RBC membership as thanks.
