Holiday Shuttle - Spring Break
UCI Transportation is pleased to offer complimentary shuttle service to support your travel plans during select holiday breaks. Service is provided between the main campus and John Wayne Airport, and between the main campus and the Irvine Transportation Center (Metrolink/Amtrak Station). Space is limited so reservations are required. The number of bags you will be carrying is needed to reserve your seat. Shuttles will run as scheduled below. If you end up with different travel arrangements to your destination and no longer need the Holiday Shuttle service, please cancel your reservation as soon as practical to allow room for students, faculty, and staff on the waitlist.

Please complete a Vehicle Leave Request if you are planning to leave your vehicle on campus during the break. As a reminder, a valid permit is required to park on campus at all times.

Policies & Procedures

Departures:

  • Shuttles will depart from the flagpole by Aldrich Hall.
  • Shuttle arrives at destination approximately 30 minutes after departure from UCI.
  • The shuttle will drop you off at John Wayne Airport or the Irvine Transportation Center per your reservation.
  • Schedule your train shuttle so that you arrive at least thirty minutes before your train departure.
  • Be sure to schedule your return trip separately from your departure trip.
  • Please email rideshare@uci.edu immediately if you want to cancel your reservation.

Arrivals:

  • Airport passengers will meet the UCI Holiday Shuttle at the Ground Transportation Center outside Terminal B on the arrival level of John Wayne Airport. You will need to cross regular traffic lanes to reach this location.
  • Train passengers will meet the shuttle at Shuttle Bay #7 at the Irvine Transportation Center.
  • Shuttles will return to the flagpoles by Aldrich Hall.
