Rent Auditions
Welcome to the Audition form for Rent! Co-Produced with KC Melting Pot Theatre at The White Theatre at The J. 

Auditions: Sunday, November 16th from 5pm - 9pm 

Callbacks: Tuesday, November 18th from 6pm - 9pm

Actors cast in this production will be given a stipend for this project. 

This audition will include a vocal and dance portion. Please prepare 1 minute or around 32 bars of a song in the style of the show and bring sheet music with a clearly noted audition cut. An accompanist will be provided. No in-person tracks or acapella auditions will be allowed. *Those who are sending a video audition may use a track.

Character Breakdown  The directing team will be casting ages 18 and up for this production. 

Video auditions will be accepted until Sunday, November 16th at noon. Please still fill out an audition form and send your video audition to Emilie at emiliek@thejkc.org. Those who are sending a video audition may use a track. A dance combo video will be available a few weeks before the audition to reference for sending in a video audition. 

Important dates:

Rehearsals will begin on December 28th (No rehearsal on New Years Eve). Rehearsals are from 6-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 1-5 p.m. on Sundays

Shows begin on January 31st and will run on Thursdays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m through February 22nd.
